Hi Yu Ling -

I returned from Namibia on Monday. It was indeed a fabulous trip. The people from Wilderness were indeed great and I am looking into a return trip to some of their lodges next year. I am also keen to visit Mombo in Botswana.

Serra Cafema is out of this world. While in SC I took a unique photo of a crocodile with a goat In its mouth on dry land. This will likely be posted in their news letter as it is quite rare for a croc to have a kill on dry ground.  Once again Thanks for organizing my trip.

Ongava Tented Camp was small, private and very peaceful and the Ongava game Reserve was full of game.  The camp manager was excellent as were all the staff.

I would like to see more of Namibia and Botswana next time.

I never imagined that touring in the Namib Desert would be so completely emotionally moving and so absolutely awe inspiring.  The Skeleton Coast was definitely the most amazing and life-changing destination we have visited.

Other than sensational landscape and thrilling game sightings, the professionalism, care, and competence of the staff and guide was truly impressive.  Frankly one of the best we have experienced in our many travels.

Overall impression - fabulous trip.  Very well organized and everything went like clockwork and we were very impressed by Wilderness Safaris, their staff and the service.  If we had to change one thing, it would be the two nights it took us to get from the Skeleton Coast to Johannesburg to catch our flight back to Hong Kong.

8 night Botswana safari: very smooth, great camps with good variety and knowledgeable guides.

The Tsaro Duba Pride has been renamed the Lazy Lions of Duba! They slept and pretty much that was it!  Poor James 007 - all the pressure from everyone!

But - Little Mombo more than made up for it. The Steriod Boys, two cheetah brothers, who have not been seen for a month hunted a red lechwe and delivered a spectacular kill!  We have tons of photos and video!

Namibia was really special and the Skeleton Coast is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.  I noticed you sell this camp as one of the best safaris in Africa and originally I thought that that was a pretty strong statement.  Now I understand and there is really nothing like it in the world!  For an amateur photographer like myself, I loved the combination of unbelievable / stark / diverse scenery, great wildlife (especially those Oryx in the distance which beg you to use them to create scale in your photos) and those beautiful Himba women and children.

We already recommended Asia to Africa Safaris to some friends because you're from Asia and know that it is a journey to get to Africa.  You love Africa and we felt that you were more of an ambassador for the continent and the experience rather than just an agent trying to cash in on it.  You understand Asian mentality and know what HK people need to know about the experience.  You were patient in answering my millions of questions.

Happy new year, hope you had as good a time as I did in Namibia...  It was really great, as expected, but even more varied and rich than what I thought.

Etosha was amazing... We have seen in 4-5 days 15+ lions, 10-15 white rhinos, 6 black rhinos, 20 elephants and quantity of other things... And I like the atmosphere and, landscapes and animal concentration, very different from Eastern Africa.

All the rest was great, Serra Cafema in particular, but Damaraland and Sossusvlei as well. And I understand why you want to go back there, lucky you!

It was always my dream to go on safari in Africa. I always assumed that it would be to the “typical” safari spots of Kenya and Tanzania but after speaking with some friends and then being introduced to Jose and crew at Asia to Africa I realized that Southern Africa, especially Botswana was where I wanted to go.
