Overall impression - fabulous trip. Very well organized and everything went like clockwork and we were very impressed by Wilderness Safaris, their staff and the service. If we had to change one thing, it would be the two nights it took us to get from the Skeleton Coast to Johannesburg to catch our flight back to Hong Kong.
8 night Botswana safari: very smooth, great camps with good variety and knowledgeable guides.
2 night Ongava / 3 night Skeleton Coast safari: Little Ongava - amazing villa - worth it for this alone - Festus was our guide - great drive on last day. Skeleton Coast - Chris Bakkes was our guide - great guy, great safari - very cold on the coast out of the sun - warm clothes essential here!.
So, really, a great trip. Certainly Botswana lived up to and indeed surpassed expectations. Met some great people and have some memories that will last a lifetime.
We have to say that Asia to Africa Safaris was great in giving us as much detail as possible before the trip and your tip of Newman as a guide in Chitabe as well as firming up our sleep outs and bush walks made these parts of the trip very special.
PS - Did get to see and track leopards - two and a half of them!
