We all wish we could have stayed a little longer. It was that good a holiday.
The “organic” days we spent in Madikwe were matched by an equally elegant counterpoint in Cape Town. The kick off in Zimbabwe with an excursion to the Victoria Falls was the best prologue for our safari in South Africa.
New member of the family? Meet Meerkat Teo. I think she wants to go home with us!
My fave Safari moments. The best times are spent with just the 5 of us! No wifi, no gadgets, no distractions!
Being a busy working mom, I really look forward to trips like this where i get to spend quality time with my kids and being with them 24/7! Sharing 3 meals, looking after their needs, packing and planning our days activities!
And nothing is better than having trips that are best suited to their needs and interests (rather than mine). They are not young forever and this is the best time to invest in memories like this!
We had a great trip. Mala mala had better views/landscape and had more animals but the lions were mostly sleeping, Thornybush had more action though we didnt see the kill. Kamara was nice except for the smoke the last night. Thanks so much for all your help Yessa!!
What an epic trip and so many core memories made. Thank you Tung Ling and A2A Safaris for making good on your promise, it truly was a journey of a lifetime. We can't wait to be back!

I appreciated the attention to details provided by A2A and madikwe lelapa lodge. From the pre safari briefing to kiddie activities and tokens to engage my daughter. It was such a fun and educational experience for her. Lastly, since we took out daughter with us, they accommodated request of a few breaks in between drives to allow the kids movement and stretch which is helpful when traveling/ exploring with kids.
