We actually waited and saw a live kill by a leopard of an impala, and also watched a group of lionesses devour a buffalo, we were charged by hippo in our boat, and many many more. Everything about the trip was superb, if not awesome. The diversity of things we saw and did was just right. Service, food and accommodations at Singita were first rate and microlighting over Vic Falls and fishing in the Zambezi river were definitely things we’ll remember for a very long time. But Jack’s Camp and Super, our guide, were something else! Those meerkats standing on our son Robert’s head, our walks with Cobra and his bushmen and quadding on the saltpans, and the aardwolf and brown hyena our son will never forget.

The relationship the staff builds with you at Ulusaba is like a family. Add to that great drives, great animal sightings, great food – it was a blast. Greg and Dan made an excellent guide team and were great professionals and a lot of fun to be with. I was dumbfounded by their tracking abilities and level of knowledge about science, botany, astronomy, zoology – fantastic learning and great fun.
