The most beautiful thing in life is that our souls remain hovering over the places where we once enjoyed ourselves." -Kahlil Gibran. Thank you Morukuru family for helping us do just that! What an incredible trip this has been.. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude for this beautiful country and its people.

I just wanted to write and say a HUGE thank you to A2A Safaris for organising the holiday of a lifetime. I hadn’t done a huge amount of research myself and chose to leave myself in A2A’s capable hands, and I am VERY pleased I did. The trip started off seamlessly, our transfer from Johannesburg to Madikwe Safari Lodge could not have been easier and as a result we arrived raring to go out on our first game drive.

The amazing thing about the continent of Africa is that every country has something different to share with the rest of the world. For Namibia, this is only one part of a grand landscape that changes from dunes to flood plains to rivers to mountains as you move through the country. It was a two-hour flight from Windhoek to the camp and in just this short amount of time, the scenery and weather changed so drastically. I knew Namibia is known for its landscape, but I didn't expect this grandeur.

We had a great trip and it was wonderful to see you in Cape Town. We just arrived home after a straightforward but arduous trip I can confirm that "I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke that I was not happy”,  now I do have to attend to unfinished business!

That was a fantastic 4 days which way exceeded our expectations. The lodge staff was great and welcoming and generous. Africa is a dream and after living in Hong Kong for so long it was great to get close to nature while in the lap of luxury. It was a dream for both of us to see the big five (4 of the 5 seen) and to meet great people.  Warm regards and thank you for coordinating everything!

AFRICA IS AWESOME!!! I loved the game drives and the sunset cruise in Marataba and Victoria Falls. My brother enjoyed the BIG FIVE and the SMALL FIVE. Mom and Dad had a cool time in historic Johannesburg and enchanting Cape Town.

There was something in the African sky that night and the stars are shining above us. (from the ABBA song Fernando)

AMAZING.

Africa is really wonderful and really beautiful. Vic Falls River Lodge and Marataba were great.  Athol Place was picture perfect.  Love their arts, crafts and t-shirts too. Thanks for organizing and hope to visit again soon. We truly love Africa!

In South Africa, all the elements are present to create a food scene that is as exciting as it is delicious. Bring together a multicultural local populace, the most number of tourists, a crop of talented chefs and an overload of local produce and you’ve got the elements of a vibrant, cosmopolitan dining scene that is proudly South African. Whether you’re after fivestar luxury, modernist flair, ethnic flavors or hipster vibe, Cape Town and the nearby Cape Winelands deliver.

From being a few feet away from lions and elephants to driving along the breathtaking coast in Hermanus to taking cable cars up to Table Mountain, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to explore South Africa. A huge thank you to A2ASafaris for putting together our itinerary. We loved our entire trip!
