We enjoyed ourselves immensely!  Botswana was amazing.  Pom Pom was good, Linyanti was OK (the scenery was a bit too arid) and Vumbura was great.

I also managed to lose my wedding ring in the Okavango Delta.  Good thing my insurance will cover the loss!  In terms of honeymooning, I think Vumbura is a good place to go. The managers are very hands on, the common area is really nice and the tents are a bit more luxurious than in either Pom Pom or Linyanti.  Of course, you could go for the "6 paw" camps at King's Pool, Jao or Mombo.

My husband, two girls (aged 6 and 8 ) and I went on safari in Botswana with Asia to Africa Safaris just before Christmas 2003.  The peace and beauty of real Africa was an unforgettable experience.  We stayed in Duma Tau and Jao camps, both of which were expertly run by very charming and knowledgeable teams, and we saw the big five, including a rare sighting of a gorgeous leopardess and her cub.  My children had a magical and educational time. The oldest girl has not stopped watching Animal Planet since, such was the level of interest developed whilst on safari!

The Tsaro Duba Pride has been renamed the Lazy Lions of Duba! They slept and pretty much that was it!  Poor James 007 - all the pressure from everyone!

But - Little Mombo more than made up for it. The Steriod Boys, two cheetah brothers, who have not been seen for a month hunted a red lechwe and delivered a spectacular kill!  We have tons of photos and video!

It’s been barely 3 weeks since we got back from Africa and plans for a return trip as early as within the next month are already in the planning.  I guess that says a lot about our experience during our recent visit to the area.

It was our first trip to Africa and our first safari so we left it to the expertise and recommendation of Asia to Africa Safaris who did a very good job planning out our itinerary, choosing our hotels in the city, camps in the bush, where to shop, restaurants to eat in, all the way down to the bottles of wine to enjoy.

All things were marvelous! Carrie was totally fired up about the safari as was I.  She's a tougher customer than me, so that's really saying something.  We did get some great pictures and I'm working on getting them up on a website now. My amateur photo skills will clearly be on display!  I didn’t want to leave Duba.  Wish we spent 4 days there!  I want to go back to that camp and Savuti again and maybe try some other ones in the network....they were all great.

Since our honeymoon in East Africa over 3 years ago, we had always looked forward to going back for another visit, and the Okavango Delta was on the top of our wish list. We arranged the trip once and needed to cancel because of a bad excuse - work schedule - and a bad reason - the Bangkok-based representative of a well-known travel company couldn't put the trip together in time for us.  We chose to work with that agent because we saw their name all over the place in East Africa.

Plenty of benchmarks… saw the Big 5 (almost all in one game drive) and more – including 4 encounters with the magnificent but supposedly elusive leopard… the enjoyable rides in the open top rovers and informative bushwalk… the luxurious and relaxing accommodation… great overall service from the trip planning, the guides, etc… the great views during morning and afternoon tea breaks… and the satisfaction backed by the fact that we took over 1100 photo shots in Kruger alone plus hundreds more in Cape Town!

I truly thank Asia to Africa Safaris for giving me the opportunity to go with my children to Africa!  It was a rewarding trip for me - a trip which I will always treasure as one of my most memorable (if not the most memorable) voyages I have undertaken!!  I have been all over the world but it was only during this trip that I learned my role in life!

Exhilarating, heart-stopping and breathtaking are the words we would describe our experience in Africa.  The trip without a doubt left an indelible impression in our minds.  We would reminisce and relive the unforgettable sights and sounds of our wondrous sojourn and yearn to go back for more.  As frequent travelers to exotic destinations worldwide, we rate our African trip by far the best. We look forward to one day experiencing it all over again.

One could never get enough of Africa.  Thank you for introducing Africa to us.  We are already planning our next trip.
