Nancy Valiente

Hi Lit. Last night in Magashi and heading back to HK tomorrow. Met Ingrid and Rob here. I love Magashi! It’s a special place....

Here are some more of the Muhoza group - 1 silverback, 8 females and 3 babies (1 is 3 weeks old, 1 is about 2 months and 1 is 2 years old). One of the females (grooming the female with the tiny baby) is pregnant. You can create short clips from the video - there’s one of the silverback, and one of the females nursing and one female eating bamboo shoots expertly!

The food at Magashi is amazing! And arriving by boat and seeing the camp from the water was something....

Thank you for another life changing journey. It was worth the trek through mud, river beds, Rwandan "hills" and bamboo thickets to see these mountain gorillas!
