“When the kids, Diego, Sebastian and Isabela and I (Irene) went on a safari four years ago, they raved to their dad (Nonoy) about their experiences... best shower ever (under the stars!), quite easily seeing the Big Five in our first ever tented-camp Tanda Tula, having a sumptuous breakfast in the bush, trying ostrich meat for breakfast and rabbit meat for lunch, bringing back to Manila bottles of wine in our duffel bags...!

“I (Nonoy) enjoyed the microlight flight over Victoria Falls immensely. We were also told that seeing the baby leopards and the wild dogs and their puppies was a very rare opportunity. Apparently, the wild dogs are near extinct with only about 2,500 in the whole of Africa, and we saw nearly a dozen in their den in MalaMala Game Reserve.
“But eight days are not enough for Africa. We certainly look forward to going back. There is still so much to discover and experience!”
