Joel Consing and family

Kenya derived its name from the Kikuyu word for Mount Kenya which means "the one with the stripes." Indeed, streaks of white snow cascade from atop of the second highest mountain in Africa, and perhaps the only snow-capped mountain situated on the equator. I could list the usual adjectives to describe, say, the breathtaking vista, or the beautiful culture and traditions of the 44 tribes that have productively and peacefully co-existed in millenniums past, or the emotions and respect evoked by nature's grandeur and savagery. But that would only place boundaries on the meaning of Kenya.

Nature is best experienced, not described.

As with Kenya.
