Our trip was perfect from start to finish.
Cape Town was beautiful; Janice, our guide, was particularly good and very tuned in to everything we were hoping to do. She changed more than one plan to fit in our slightly eccentric requirements. The restaurants were fabulous, especially La Colombe and Babel (Babel was an A2A recommendation).
Our safari at Londolozi was magical - we couldn’t have expected or wanted anything more. The staff, starting with Victoria and Helen, to our ranger and tracker, Kevin and Raymond took fabulous care of us, especially my nine year old son. We had fabulous sundowners and a delicious 5 course dinner in their wine cellar. Anna - their executive chef served up some amazing food including the best lamb shank ever, not to mention a special table laden with goodies in the middle of the forest! The newly renovated rooms are spacious and comfortable. But - most of all, it was their attitude: warm, friendly and ever willing to help, all done effortlessly and with a smile.
A special thank you to Kevin Bishop at A2A who put up patiently with a hundred questions and just as many date and other changes, always managing to accommodate our new schedule someway or the other. We are looking forward to our next safari!
