We had the most wonderful time in Namibia! Thank you for arranging it. Everything was perfect!
We rode for about 7 hours over two days exploring the dunes, imbibing the landscape, and visiting villages (both temporarily abandoned and currently) inhabited by the (now semi-) nomadic Himba people. You will see in some of the photos that they have adjusted to a particularly convenient invention from the modern world - plastic. Other than that, they have maintained a large part of their culture since they set foot in Namibia from Angola more than 400 years ago (such as knocking 4 of their front lower teeth to differentiate themselves from the other Bantu-speaking tribes, of which the Himbas is one of perhaps 600).
If I don't stop here, I'll never finish ... Cheers!
