Maya and Mickey Colayco

We enjoyed ourselves immensely!  Botswana was amazing.  Pom Pom was good, Linyanti was OK (the scenery was a bit too arid) and Vumbura was great.

I also managed to lose my wedding ring in the Okavango Delta.  Good thing my insurance will cover the loss!  In terms of honeymooning, I think Vumbura is a good place to go. The managers are very hands on, the common area is really nice and the tents are a bit more luxurious than in either Pom Pom or Linyanti.  Of course, you could go for the "6 paw" camps at King's Pool, Jao or Mombo.

Cape Town was beautiful and it was great to drive to Cape Point and see the gorgeous scenery.  The winelands were a bit slow and we would have been satisfied with a day trip as it was a bit too cold to really go around the wine country.  We did enjoy the food, though.  Great food at low prices!  Overall, a great place to honeymoon.  We ate at Blue Danube and loved the food.  You should try Somerville in Camps Bay (its along Victoria Road) for really good seafood.

As for my photos, still having them developed.  I'll let you guys decide if any are National Geographic-worthy!
