Jocelyn and Ed Doe

Jambo, family and friends!  Here are some of the highlights of our honeymoon in Africa.

Most of the pictures we took are of the bountiful wildlife. We played the alphabet game one night around the campfire...and were able to name at least 1-2 native animal sightings per letter, with the exception of N, X and Y.

We chose Tanzania for a number of reasons - the snow capped Kilimanjaro, the golden plains of the Serengeti, and admiration for Paul Tudor Jones, the hedge fund manager who has invested his Wall Street fortune into preserving Tanzania's natural heritage back to the days of Hemingway's adventures.

The Seychelles has always been a dream spot for me ever since I saw a picture of its clear, aquamarine ocean that sparkled like diamonds.  On scout's honor, none of the pictures we share with you here have been retouched in any way.  It is simply, naturally, breathtakingly beautiful.
