It opened my eyes to a whole new world. Before this visit my view of Africa was very limited, limited to what I hear and see on the news. Africa is much, much more than I ever thought, the land, the people, the nature. The minute part of Africa that I saw on my virgin visit was magnificent.
Kevin, I remember you saying "you are so lucky Jackson Looseyia is available to be your guide in the Maasi Mara." We were indeed blessed by fate. We saw the big five, the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, as well as the wildebeest, the migration, the giraffes, the zebras, the cheetah, a mother elephant with her new baby, a lioness and her cubs. Jackson shared his knowledge, his wisdom and his love of the Mara with us, so we were able to bask in all its magnificence. He affected us all deeply and I am truly grateful.
Finally I would like to say my feelings of awe were not from seeing the sky, the land, the wildlife, but from just simply sitting near the river in Rekero camp, surrounded by and living amongst all gods creations. Remembering brings a smile to my face. As I said a whole new world has been opened to me and I have only seen a minute part. I will return. I have nothing but praise for the service and the camps. Thank you for creating such a memorable visit and I look forward to working with you again.
