Zakouma is really a very unique place with its large size, offering a wide diversity of landscapes, habitats and of course animals with birds taking center stage - Birds were everywhere from the first light of the day to full darkness. It gave us the impression that we were never 'alone' with always something to spot in the trees, in the water, on the ground or in the air.

Zakouma is really a very special place. On top of the wonderful things as described by Domique, pls also thank Jose for arranging for Fraser to be our guide.  His passion and enthusiasm made the trip all the more interesting.  

Zakouma was simply astonishing, the rawest kind of beauty one can imagine in the wild! Everyone had an amazing time and we all definitley fell in love with Zakouma. The whole team at Camp Nomade, African Parks and Fraser were remarkable and we are so inspired to keep exploring the wilder parts of Africa. 

Thank you for organising a trip like this, a week is simply not enough!

One of my best safaris to date. Loved Zakouma and the people and wildlife and birdlife.  Sign me up for the next one I will join for sure!

Agree with everything said and will just add it was great to be able to watch someone experiencing safari for the first time.

Hopefully we can now induct him into our little cult. Africaholics Anonymous.
