Soweto/Apartheid Museum was an excellent introduction to SA history and v valuable to orient visitors to present day SA. I would recommend this to all.

Wonderful animals and 2 different safari style experiences between more open, natural safari at Lukimbi in Kruger Park and commercial animal delivery focused offroad private land Sabi Sands (though note that Idube rangers are very highly experienced and managed this well - not so sure that would be the case at other lodgers - it was clear they were chasing sightings!)

Lukimbi Lodge superb. Overall we liked the Idube lodge - best rangers, great walk, stunning animals. But I can see Asian visitors might find winter outdoor eating too cold and accommodation older than other lodges. SA visitors noted that it was the "budget" lodge in Sabi but several were returning guests which says something. The rangers were superb and it appeared to us that they were recognised as top class by current managers (and I sensed by other ranges who sought their advice). The rangers make the safari experience so are KEY.

River Club - Vic Falls & Zambezi river.

Cape Town - great sightseeing, wonderful city, will go back! Restaurant food was v good and excellent value given current exchange rate.
