We had a fantastic 3 weeks in South Africa, and we treasure lots of wonderful memories.
While we really enjoyed all of it (and were lucky to have great weather during all 3 weeks), the Kruger Park and in particular "Elephant Plains" private lodge was the absolute highlight of our trip. Great accommodation, nice weather/food, excellent service, and first and foremost, the excitement of 18 hours of high quality game drives during which we were privileged to be able to see the "big 5" and lots of other game/animals.
All in all, a truly unique experience, which we hope to "replay" in the not too distant future. Thanks to you Ria and, by copy of this note, to Victor and Jose, for making the "Elephant Plains" safari arrangements and for providing us with so much useful pre-trip information.
